ZABMUN 2010 started off with a bang and proceeded to amaze the delegates that took part in its glorious Opening Ceremony. However, amongst all the festivities there was one, or rather four, delegations that were not present. Who had canceled. The very night before. And not informed any of the ZABMUN officials until they were called at 12 o’clock at night for a final confirmation.
The delegations from Nixor College disappeared from the MUN scene and were a no-show even after paying up a hefty sum of money that went up to a 5 digit number. The reason for their absence? Supposedly a test week came out of the blue which completely engulfed the 18 delegates who could not turn up. And these 18 had not even informed any of the ZABMUN team of their so-called cancellation. Maybe ZABMUN would not have felt the loss of these delegates had they not been assigned major countries due to their affiliation with a prestigious A-level college of Pakistan.
Apparently, the Nixor delegates believed that the MUN could proceed without key countries, namely United States of America, Palestine and Israel. That would have indeed been quite a New World Order. Or they perceived that they could be replaced quite easily when the Opening Ceremony was simply 12 hours away. But, while the rest of the delegates, both canceling and attending delegates slept, the ZABMUN Team, along with their President tried to frantically resolve the crisis. And behold, their awesomeness made them quite successful. And ZABMUN is yet again a miracle worker.
Since the Nixor administration is blissfully unaware of their bloopers and have not yet given any comment on the sudden cancellation, we still remain in the dark regarding the true reason for Nixor not being able to MUN. While ZABMUN rolls on, the Nixor MUN-ers will have to wait to implement their New World Order strategies, perhaps in the future you guys! For now lets just stick to the prevailing United Nation structure, wishful thinking can wait. Cheers!

From, the Former Madam President
All the crazy frenzy activities take me back a year, oh what a year I had, or rather 6 months.
Everything in life was put on hold to give priority to make ZABMUN 2009 a possibility and ensure that the ZABMUN conference wasn’t just a onetime fluke event. Pressure? Nah, not at all!
I have to admit, when a conference is about to happen and there are still a couple of weeks left, very few people work and it is very annoying for those who are working. These 8-10 people always get stuck doing EVERYTHING. It happens every year and I see it happening this year too. But what I love is that regardless, ZABMUN is such a team effort and in some way or another, everyone is of value in making ZABMUN happen.
Today, when I see everyone working so hard, so tensed, I remember the good times. I remember the conference ending. I remember us reaching our required amount of delegates. I remember the fun and none of the tension. And believe me, that is all you will want to remember.
So to all of you coming to ZABMUN for the first time WELCOME. Do your best. MUN away. The executive council has worked day & night to bring you one of the best ZABMUN conferences ever!
So, have fun ;)
To those who have been here before, it will be a pleasure to meet you again.
